As a Customer Service Officer in the Healthcare team, you will be joining a smaller expert team dedicated to servicing our more vulnerable customers who require home oxygen to support their medical condition(s). Customers can include the patient themselves, their family, aged care facilities, hospitals (calling on behalf of the patient), funding bodies who provide financial aid to the patient to get their oxygen
Homecare Customer enquiries are varied but the most common are:
- placing orders
- arranging equipment collections (either no longer required because they are better or final collections as the patient has passed away)
- troubleshooting homecare equipment issues
- discussing our homecare/clinical product range including prices, stock availability, ETA etc.
The ideal candidate criteria is:
- High level of Empathy and Compassion - this is non-negotiable given the circumstances in which customers call us
- High level communication skills (both written and verbal) - able to simplify medical product or BOC information for customers
- Ability to actively listen and multi-task with good attention to detail when entering data (comfortable using different IT systems at one time)
- Problem Solving/De-escalation skills for challenging conversations
- Preferably English as their first language - a lot of our customers are older and some have trouble hearing
