Senior Payroll Officer/ Assistant Manager
- $100,000 - $105,000 + Super | North Ryde Free onsite parking (& optional West Location!)

Overseeing BAU payroll operations, leading 1 Payroll officer and complete an exciting system implementation moving from Preceda!

- Oversee full payroll operations including assisting the payroll implementation working alongside the Systems and Finance team. Intial 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
- Lead the payroll system implementation, ensuring a smooth transition through parallel pay runs and minimal disruption to BAU operations
- Manage end-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll
- Mentor and supervise a Payroll Officer supporting their professional development
- Oversee day-to-day payroll operations while actively contributing to system rollout
- Process employee lifecycle changes including terminations, new hires, and salary adjustments
- Respond to payroll-related queries with professionalism and accuracy
- Experience in a senior payroll role with end to end payroll management
- Strong understanding of awards, employment conditions, and payroll legislation
- Experience with a system implementation, including testing and parallel runs
- Proficiency in payroll systems - Preceda, Elmo and Workday highly desirable
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a small team highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- This is an intial 12 Month Fixed Term Contract so commitment to this contract
